<span style="color:red">Adam Howell:</span> I write apps as a hobby, and this is exactly how I would make a car management app. The price of the Pro Unlocker is well worth it. Data export and import is essential for an app like this. I regularly backup all my aCar data. If my phone dies (which is has in the past), I can restore from backup without losing much (if any) data. Not only does it backup in a proprietary format, but will export in .CSV if you prefer. Super easy to keep track of things like oil changes and tuneups. It even reminds me of when these are due (either by time, or by miles). aCar will even log miles for trips, which helps for reimbursements from work. Entering the cost of maintenance helps me track how much my car is costing me. This is very important for older cars like mine. At some point, it will cost me less to buy a new car. With aCar, I will know exactly when monthly maintenance exceeds a car payment.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Jacob Crome:</span> Detailed App I'll start my review by saying that it's not the most user friendly or intuitive app I've used. What it lacks in ease of use, it more than makes up for in depth. I love that with aCar I can record All of my vehicle related expenses in one place along with easy exporting and convenient reports. Despite the user interface complaint above, the ONLY thing keeping me from giving aCar 5 stars is the fact that I can't snap pictures of receipts and attach them to my service records.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Jonathan Irvin:</span> Every car owner needs this I got this app two cars ago and have used it ever since. I use it religiously on every fill up, oil change, and maintenance of my new car. I kinda wish this could sync to the cloud so I can manage my records online. I just wished there web site was more of a user interface. Update: just had my phone crash and had to get a new one. Due to the old phone not working at all I lost the last five months of info because it was being baked up on my phone only, and not out to the cloud. Very disappointed that this is not an option to automatically back up to Dropbox, Google docs, ect.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Tom Berg:</span> All good but missing dual fuel support and needing update I kept asking about dual fuel support since two years now. I've been told this is planned feature each time I asked. Fuelly didn't do much since they bought the app. There is a huge number of vehicles that run on dual fuel. Those vehicles have two tanks one for petrol and one for LPG. Fillups overlap and there i s no way to see how much petrol I've used and how much LPG or combined cost etc. Also app is in desperate need of interface face lift. Not much has been done sine Fuelly bought the app.<br /><br /><span style="color:red">Fred Anderson:</span> Almost Complete App Used Vehicle Manager for Windows for many years. Now an android user, but didn't want to switch. Glad I did. This is a great app with one major shortfall. Needs to sync from my smartphone to my tablet. Such a great deal for the premium features across all your devices. The trends. I am dissapointed at the lack of real detail in the charts. It would be nice to be able to zoom in on a portion of the chart and see the value. See actual numbers versus a general bar graph. As an example, I would like to see a total number of $$ spent or miles driven per type of trip. I just lost 6 months of input even though I had auto backup configured. There is no option to save it to an external card and my phone broke and I only had an old backup on Google Drive... I use both iPhone and Android and I can honestly say that there is no other app that logs trip records, fuel records and service and repair records and allows the flexibility that ACar does. The only thing I really wish for is online sync. The user interface leaves much to be desired but not a total deal breaker. What made me dislike this app is the enormous widgets. They take up half my screen at 4x2 and there is absolutely no reason for them to be that big. I reported it to support and all I got back was "works on their phone fine". So needless to say I wasn't too impressed with my recent purchase of the PRO version. A Cool program. Every purchase and repairs done to my cars, all in one program. The only problem is the backup & restore. I've had to replace my phone more than once, each time I lost my data. You can backup to the cloud, but can't restore from the cloud. I been using the A car product for about 5yrs now. I track my wife and kids cars to keep track of maintenance. This is a great tool to keep track of things like safety equipment also. By safety equipment I mean tail lights and turn signals. This would be great standard program for the smartphone.<br /><br />
